Hazy

Things have been getting less and less hazy these days. Sometimes I feel like there's a weird fog over life in general, but the haze has grown clearer in the last week or two. I think there's a lot to be said about coming out of the winter season -- a season of contemplation and tons of time spent indoors, in conversation -- and into spring season, which represents new life and generally more activity outside. I love this transition, it always comes at the perfect time.

Speaking of new life, Joel and I got baptized this week! I can't even begin to explain the experience, how uplifted and loved we felt by our family at Soul City Church, and how awesome they were through the whole process. Sometimes I catch myself in total disbelief of how incredible it is to be a part of this new place, with these people, and witness how God is using both for his glory. Ahhh I love it.

Spring will be: riding my bike, wearing this dress, to this Starbucks, where I pull out my iPad and read this book.

And then?

France.

...in my dreams. (haha)
