December came and went like it never happened. It feels like just yesterday we were getting Christmas decorations out of storage, and now it's time to put them back again... I think it happens when you're sick for almost 3 weeks. We both had nasal infections, I had an ear infection on top of it all, and then went to the doctor today with intense eye pain and found out I have an eye infection. In the words of my doctor, "you've taken quite a beating lately, haven't you?"
I'm glad I took the antibiotics just in time to enjoy the week leading up to Christmas. Everything is so magical out here... the snow, the Christmas lights, tons of cookies and Christmas music... it was amazing. I miss California sometimes, but Christmas seems to make so much more sense out here.
I love hanging out with Joel in our apartment when it's wintery. I think I'll do that!
